SPECIFIC FIGURES USED IN OUR MARKETING

Our marketing refers to two figures: an annual net owner discretionary earnings business profit before tax and depreciation figure (combining business profit before tax and depreciation, and salaried employee earnings from working in the business), and an equivalent owner earnings-per-hour-worked figure. Both are derived from a single illustrative financial model of a two-participant Supported Independent Living house, prepared as at August 2026 using published National Disability Insurance Agency funding data and rates under the Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (MA000100) applicable at that time (“2 Client Model”). The model fairly demonstrates the core financial principles of operating a supported independent living house by an experienced, steady state provider who works in the business as a support worker and a business owner, as at August 2026.

These are modelled figures, not actual results. They are not the results of Disability Providers Network, of any student, or of any client, and we do not represent that any person has achieved them.

Further, actual results will vary due to multiple factors, including those mentioned in the above Earnings Disclaimer, as well as variables such as participant funding and roster of care, support ratios, vacancy periods, property costs, award rates, regulatory change, and your own capability and effort. These variables differ substantially between operators and change over time. They are provided to illustrate how Supported Independent Living economics work, and what is possible, not to predict your outcome. You should obtain your own independent financial, accounting and legal advice before relying on them.
